Typography

Typography is a very important concept while creating a website or anything that requires writing, such as a document, etc. Though there are many different fonts and font families, here are a few of them:

Serif

Sans-Serif

Monospace

Each generic font family has different unique fonts inside of that family. For example, the font "Times New Roman", falls under the family of "Serif". Ex:

Times New Roman

Some other specific fonts within other font families include:

Monospace

Courier New

Lucida Console

Cursive

Brush Script MT

Lucida Handwriting

Great! Now that you have learned the basics of typography and font-families, you may now use it however you like while writing online. There are many different fonts to choose from, so make sure you choose a font that is appropriate to what you are writing. For example, if you are writing a letter, maybe use something like Cursive, or if you are writing something like a document, use something more clear and basic, such as Times New Roman. Good Luck!
